About
I’m Tanny Jiraprapasuke — a storyteller, educator, and spiritual guide for the bold-hearted. I work with people who are ready to face themselves, not flinch. My roots run immigrant-deep, my path is shaped by Buddhist practice, and my mission is liberation — through beauty, truth, and unapologetic presence.
Rooted in Buddhist spiritual practice and trained in chaplaincy and storytelling, I’ve walked alongside individuals and communities navigating trauma, creativity, and transformation. My work blends the sacred and the practical — because real healing requires both.

Why the turtle?
In my family, the turtle is sacred. It was my father's nickname—a man who was outgoing and full of life on the outside, yet carried a deep well of strength and perseverance within. Over time, the turtle came to symbolize not just him, but all of us—our immigrant roots, our resilience, and our way of moving through the world with intention.
The turtle is our declaration: that we walk our path with purpose, making each step count. That we move slowly enough to stay present—with ourselves, the people we love, and the world we live in.
That we always carry the ability to turn inward, no matter what’s happening around us.
At Happy Turtle Creative, the turtle is a reminder that true strength lives in the balance between boldness and stillness. And that presence, not speed, is what shapes meaningful journeys.
